Are you a guest at a wedding? Before you RSVP yes, let's talk about the actual cost of being a wedding guest. 

In a recent article in HerMoney, I discuss destination weddings. While destination weddings can be fun they are pricey. 

They usually require a long flight, an expensive lodging booking at a resort, and need more time away from work. 

However, they are doable. If you attend a destination wedding you can try to parlay it into an extended family vacation.  It's a smart way to save on airfare and additional hotel costs.
